I'm a multimedia content producer currently working as a Data Fellow at McClatchy DC where I create data visualizations, motion graphics and animated explainers. I'm also a researcher at the Kerning Cultures Network where I research and fact-check stories and scripts across multiple English and Arabic shows. I also research the podcast landscape and contribute to KC's monthly industry podcast newsletter.

The coolest thing about my jobs is getting to produce a variety of multimedia content for different platforms, with a focus on mobile-storytelling, which I'm very passionate about.

I hold a master's degree from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism where I studied New Media, with a focus on interactive production, animation and motion graphics. I'm currently working towards my Google UX Design Professional Certificate.

I also enjoy writing and have bylines in The New York Times, Miami Herald, Berkeley Science Review and Richmond Confidential.
